We believe that God created humanity for community (Gen. 2:18). We are not meant to live alone in seclusion. As Christians we believe that Jesus established the Church through the Apostles by the Holy Spirit. The Church is not a building, but a community of disciples who come together for the edification of each other and the study of God's Word (Eph. 4:16). God's community is built on the unity of Christ as the Head of the Church. We are "one body" unified in Christ, though diverse in individual gifts and callings as the Lord has given us (1 Cor. 12:14-31). Within our communities we actively pursue God through fellowship, service, and evangelism. Christian discipleship is the active pursuit of learning and teaching the way of Jesus Christ. An active pursuit demands obedience and devotion to the Word. As disciples we seek to be transformed and led by the Holy Spirit through prayerful study and application of the Bible. College Life Orlando seeks to fulfill this call to discipleship and community through large gatherings (Life Groups) and small relational communities (Community Groups).
